English:
ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) is a mandatory entrance exam for admission into engineering universities of Punjab, conducted every year by UET Lahore.
This test checks students’ knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science, and English.

ECAT ایک انٹری ٹیسٹ ہے جو پنجاب کی انجینئرنگ یونیورسٹیوں میں داخلے کے لیے لازمی ہوتا ہے۔
یہ ٹیسٹ طلباء کی ریاضی، فزکس، کیمسٹری / کمپیوٹر سائنس اور انگلش میں قابلیت کو جانچنے کے لیے لیا جاتا ہے۔

🔹 If You Have Supply in 1st Year / اگر آپ کے پاس سپلی ہے؟
English:
Having a supply in 1st year does not stop you from appearing in ECAT.
You can take the test normally, but final admission will be confirmed only after clearing the supply and your 2nd year result is declared.

فرسٹ ایئر میں سپلی آنے کی صورت میں بھی آپ ECAT دے سکتے ہیں۔
البتہ داخلہ کنفرم تب ہوگا جب آپ سپلی پاس کر لیں اور سیکنڈ ایئر کا نتیجہ آ جائے۔
🔹 Admission Guide for Supply Students 2026 / سپلی اسٹوڈنٹس کے لیے داخلہ گائیڈ
Step 1️⃣ – Appear in ECAT Test
Supply students can appear in ECAT and get their result.
(Score remains valid for one year.)
Step 2️⃣ – After 2nd Year Result
When the 2nd year result is announced, universities prepare merit lists.
If the supply is cleared, admission becomes final.
If supply remains, admission may be cancelled or provisional.
Step 3️⃣ – Provisional Admission
Some universities (like UET) offer temporary admission to students with supply.
They must clear their failed subject in the next attempt, otherwise admission will be cancelled.
